The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement publishes annual statistics for Caddo Parish. According to its latest publication, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office reported a total of 3,659 crimes in 2017, a 3.45% decrease from the previous year. Of this total, 943 were crimes against persons, 1686 were crimes against property, and 1030 were crimes against society. Caddo Parish's crime rate was an estimated 1487.7 crimes per 100,000 population, a 2.32% drop from the previous year. The breakdown for each crime category includes one murder case, three rape offenses, three robberies, 58 aggravated assaults, 225 burglaries, 527 larceny-thefts, 58 motor vehicle thefts, one arson, among others. There were also 468 drug/narcotics-related offenses.

The database displays the names, age, sex, and date of booking of inmates. The database arranges inmates in alphabetical order.

How Do I Visit an inmate in Caddo Parish Jail?

Anyone can visit inmates at the Caddo Parish jail remotely or onsite. People who want to utilize the remote video visitation may have to call the jail to establish an account.

Remote off-site visitation takes place daily during the regular visitation hours and is unlimited. The inmates can have two free visits per week from the video visitation stations located at the jail’s lobby for onsite visitations. The visitation schedule is as follows:

  • Inmates with last names: A thru L will visit on Monday and Thursday;
  • Inmates with last names: M thru Z will visit on Tuesday and Friday;
  • Inmates on Cell Confinement will visit on Wednesdays only, regardless of their last names;
  • Inmates housed in the Sick Bay unit in Medical will visit on Wednesdays only.

Visitation hours are as follows:

  • 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Electronic devices, Knives, sharp objects, lighters, or tobacco products are not allowed in the Main Lobby or visitation areas. Visitors are required to dress and conduct themselves appropriately. An adult may have to accompany visitors 16 years old or younger. Visitors 17 years old and older may have to furnish a valid state-issued ID. All visitors are subject to being searched. People on active probation or parole cannot visit inmates.

Court Records
